Batsford Arboretum
Spanning 55 acres, this amazing arboretum and botanical garden is situated in Bourton on the Hill about 2 miles from Blockley. Walk over the hill using the Heart of England footpath to get there or 5 minutes in the car.

Rollright Stones
The Rollright Stones is an ancient Neolithic and Bronze Age site located on the Oxfordshire & Warwickshire border in England. The complex consists of three main limestone boulder monuments - The King's Men stone circle, the King Stone, and the Whispering Knights.

Broadway Tower
A short drive or a long walk away is the beautiful Broadway Tower which overlooks the whole area. This magnificent site also features the local nuclear bunker in case of apocalypse!

Sezincote

Blockley Playground
We have an excellent local playground in Blockley at the top of the hill, conveniently located between the house and the shop, with amazing views of the surrounding hills from the swings.

Broadway Activity Park
If the local Blockley playground is not enough and the kids need more adventure, then this is the best around. 15 minutes in the car and surrounded by wildlife, there are activities for all ages from toddler to teenager (and beyond!)

Fantastic local pub with food and a variety of beers on tap, a 1 minute walk away up the hill and 3 minute stumble back down. It’s so close you can see Court House in the photo!
